2002 sorrel filly Daughter of Zip to the Topnotch This athletic
and
graceful filly completed the 2004 season with an excellent showing for
her
two-year-old year, placing in every class entered, with
several firsts, and earning over $300 prize money while attending five
local
shows.
Young owner Clara Vaughn actively participated in her training, which is great testimony to the
agreeable disposition of Rusty's
foals.

TOPNOTCH CADENCE Daughter
of Zip to the Topnotch This filly lives up to her name; she's an awesome loper. Once
again, Rusty produced a two-year
old so calm and good-minded that a youngster (Clara Vaughn, in photo)
first green-broke her and
then helped the trainer with the show training. This picture was taken in November
2005 at an AQHA breed show in Columbia, Missouri, where Clara showed
her in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, and Trail. In Trail, she was
required to lope a tight circle over poles, pivot, go through a "gate,"
and back through a "chute." She placed second, competing against horses
who have accumulated many Trail points.
